The Red Flowering Quince (Chaenomeles Speciosa) grows to heights of 8-10′ with spreads up to 12-15′. One of the first shrubs to bloom in the spring. The Red Flowering Quince produces large clusters of double fiery scarlet-red flowers resembling rose buds in April-May. They have attractive shiny green foliage with reddish tinge. Plant more than one for an attractive dense hedge effect!
