Description

The Chickasaw (thorny) Blackberry plant grows to heights of 4-6′ with spreads up to 3-4′.  Chickasaw is an erect Thorny Blackberry bush that produces large berries and even larger crops. Up to 1 gallon on a single bush!  A cylindrical fruit with a very attractive glossy black color. High yields over a 4 week season, an early bearer.

Plant in loamy, moist, but well drained soil. Recommend soil pH level of 6.5 – 6.8. Ripens mid-June. Requires 500 chill hours. Self-fertile.

Full sun is recommended.
